Fellow Nigerians You might have received scare alert, text or audio or both from people abroad. They tell you frightening stories of how coronavirus has beaten the world's best medical systems and killing in thousands! The story of a farmer and his only dog is as old as the farmer's dozen problems. In fact, the myriads of challenges confronting the farmer and his entire household is at the instance of his dog. It is a disturbing scenario but yet an interesting story. A good playwright would make it a good drama in the Nollywood.  The farmer lives on the meat hunted by his dog. Besides bringing food on the table, the dog plays a critical role in his earnings and economy. Processing and sales of the extra meats and products from the game draw incomes to the farmer. Ram fighting has been with us for a while. Setting and goading animals to hit heads against each other with a great speed and force is ruthless, wicked and irresponsible. Through this evil act, many rams have been victims of hot death or brain damage. Sadly, I am not aware of any human race that celebrates this criminal, cruel and unislamic practice like the Yoruba.
